In recent years, people have carried out research on the relationship between microstructure characteristics and clutter level of titanium alloys. It is believed that the quality of ultrasonic flaw detection is related to the characteristics of microstructure and non-uniformity, but the influence relationship based on material science principle has not been clearly proposed. The researchers studied and compared several microstructures of TC4 titanium alloys with different ultrasonic flaw detection quality, analyzed the microstructure orientation by EBSD, and analyzed the influence of titanium alloy structure on ultrasonic flaw detection level based on material science.
